February Temperatures Above Average

The average temperature for February so far has been eight degrees above normal. That comes from the Illinois State Climatologist Jim Angel.

The state is also far behind the average rainfall for the month, leading to dry conditions all around.

Angel also said that we could expect above normal temperatures for Spring and Summer.

Students around SIU’s campus are enjoying the spring-like temperatures while they last.
